“Ms. Marvel” Episode 1 Has A Small (But Important) End Credit Scene

If you’re planning to watch Disney Plus’ latest Marvel series “Ms. Marvel” when it drops on Wednesday, June 8th, then you need to know to treat episode 1 like a movie — and stay until the end, because it does have an end credit scene.

While the end credit scene in episode 1 of the new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City, aka “Ms. Marvel”, is pretty freaking small.

It’s also incredibly important. Hinting that, Marvel’s newest teenage superhero may be getting way more than what she bargained for, before she even has a chance to fully figure out what her powers can actually do.

And while that maybe bad news for our new favorite teen hero, sorry Spidey, it’s slightly good news for us, as the end credit scene also proves that “Ms. Marvel” won’t just be a cutesy teen rom-com drama. Like Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever“.

This small, but mighty end credit scene seems to set us up for whats to come in later episodes — what I’m assuming could only be a big “fight for your life” escape scene, and a whole lot of that badass action we Marvel fans just can’t seem to get enough of.

As an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero megafan with an oversized imagination — especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home. Until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to, that is. Because life gets better with superpowers, right? Right!?

Guess we’ll all see how true that is — this Summer, as “Ms. Marvel” unfolds!

“Ms. Marvel” premieres on June 8th! New episodes are available to watch every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
